This is one of many loops I created and labored over for months and months just tweaking trying to get the heaviest sound possible.
It's true that it sounds very cool and very good in my opinion. ultimately it didnt have a song within it. i was planning on withholding this one, because i wanted to work on it more and turn it into something for the next album - because that is always how ive made music. i take something unfinished from the previous album and keep working on it, because i have a head start. but i dont think thats the best way to move forward any more. while it is nice to have a crutch, and a starting point, i feel like trying to turn this ideas into a song when it is difficult is sometimes an unpleasant and difficult experience. while it does create magnificently weird songs like "ooh rap i ya," it is much more fun to go for something spontaneous, which is how "punching down" came about.
besides - this sounds very ooh rap i ya-ish, and i want a new sound.
i have already written the big hit single for the next album, and in fact it comes out of this same project also and shares a lot of the same elements, but in a way that the listener wouldnt notice as its been manipulated into something else entirely with a different vibe.

there is also a slowed down version that sounds pretty cool that ill be adding also.
